NX2 Multi XL Control

The Multi XL is an enlarged version of the Multi Control instrument with 40 mm (1.6") clearly readable digits. The large digits allow this instrument to be mounted far away from the steering position and still be seen clearly. it is for this reason the push buttons on the Multi XL have been removed. This instrument is fully operated from either the Multi Control or Remote Control instrument. The high contrast, low multiplexed LCD provides excellent readability in bright sunlight as well as dims for night navigation. The benefit of the customized main and sub-functions are virtually unlimited number of user directed combinations for displaying the NX2 information.

With the New NX2 Compass Data display, view up to 4 individual data references at one time. The NX2 Compass data may display the heading graphcially, using Digalogue^TM technology, with a 360° scale or as a steer indication.

NX2 GPS Navigator

The GPS Navigator is one of the most versatile navigators on the market. Capable of storing up to 399 waypoints and 25 routes, it can be used either as a standalone unit or integrated into the NEXUS Network. The instrument and antenna are also available seperately. An important feature is the ability of the NEXUS GPS Navigator to communicate with other navigators via its NMEA input/output, allowing it to be used either as a repeater navigator or as a navigator in a system with other NMEA compatible Loran/Decca GPS navigators. The GPS Navigator is simple to use and can be installed above and/or below deck.

Two unique features of this instrument:

You may use two or more instruments in a Network with a common waypoint bank, which allows you to create, edit or select waypoints at any location.
Unique integration with digital NMEA chart plotters. The GPS Navigator is able to provide the plotter with information of position, COG, SOG etc. and may still be able to repeat navigational data (BTW, DTW, XTE etc.) calculated by the NMEA plotter (the WP bank in the NMEA plotter is used).

With the New NX2 Wind Data display, view up to 5 individual data references at one time. Nexus incorporates a large Digalogue^TM fan to represent the boat's apparent wind angle while the single blade below will always show true wind angle.
